Reform in Illinois

  

All Illinois lawyers are required to take four hours of ethics training every two years. Yet lawyers complain about how hard it is to get their units. Even though corruption makes the news every day, solid courses on reform for practicing lawyers are difficult to find.

This existing requirement is a natural avenue for the Illinois Reform Commission and its new code of ethics.

There are exciting ways to use this avenue to change the culture of corruption in Illinois.
