Andra Medea started Medea & Associates in 1987 in order to provide innovative solutions to conflicts. Mariana Garrettson has a Master in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a certificate in international peace and conflict resolution. She works as a practitioner and researcher in injury and violence prevention. She has also worked as a trainer and counselor in a crisis center for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Her interest in communication and conflict resolution skills originated in over a decade of leading wilderness expeditions with teens. She's Gen X.

Zak Mucha, MSW, is a therapist in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood, focusing on issues of mental health, homelessness and substance abuse. He has worked with juvenile wards of the state, and with groups in the criminal justice system. He is on the National Advisory Board of Protect , a lobbying group working to pass child-protective laws nationwide. Mucha is also a journalist examining issues of immigration, child abuse, crime and culture, as well as the author of a novel, The Beggars' Shore

Karen Presley is a consultant and trainer in Orange County, California. She was an HR manager working with employee relations, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and downsizing within the software, publishing, and events industries. Her current training focus is managing multiple generations in the workplace and developing technical leaders and managers. She earned a bachelor's degree in English from California State University , Long Beach , as well as a post-graduate certificate in Technical Communications. She's on the cusp between Gen X and Baby Boomers.
